Liz offers flexible, dynamic sessions within the learning environment of the forest/school grounds. Using games and fun activities she deliver a curriculum linked, eco-programme including Woodland Exploration, Birds, Minibeasts, Pond Dipping etc. mainly based at the Kilbroney Centre, Rostrevor.

Liz Farnan (BSc. Hons. Environmental Science) has 10 years experience as an Environmental Educator with Alliance Youth Works charity, 4 years as a Scientific Officer with Northern Ireland Environment Agency and 5 years as a Field Officer with The Conservation Volunteers. She has previous experience as a Senior Ecologist with an engineering firm and is an Eco-Schools Northern Ireland green flag assessor.

Pre-school, Foundation KS1, KS2 programmes include Woodland Exploration, Birds (including Murder Mystery), Minibeast Safaris, Pond dipping, Den building, Teddy Bears Picnics, Gruffalo Trails, Senses, Habitats, 2/3 day Residential stays for KS2. Liz also delivers school biodiversity days and after school eco clubs. Day Programmes typically cost £3.50 per pupil with a usual £30 venue hire charge, but prices may vary depending on venue and numbers.
