Fermanagh and Omagh District Council supports the Eco-Schools Programme. The council provides free advice and support to all schools participating in the Programme and is happy to help facilitate schools in achieving bronze, silver and Green Flag status.

Fermanagh District Council has a number of officers available to help schools in specialist areas. Please contact our officers for more details on specific topics of interest relevant to your school.

The Biodiversity Team at Fermanagh and Omagh District Council are happy to provide advice to schools following Biodiversity and/or Outdoor Learning as their eco schools topics. We can also offer site visits to accommodate your proposed outdoor lesson plans and initiatives to improve your local school habitat. The Biodiversity Team can also provide biodiversity themed workshops to supplement teaching curriculums. However, we may only be able to offer a very limited number/variety of workshops at this time due to implications imposed by the coronavirus pandemic. Thank you for your understanding in this matter, and please don't hesitate to get in contact.
