Win £300 for your Eco Team
Posted 18 January 2012The Operation Energy team have been inspired by all the hard work being done to make Northern Ireland's Eco-Schools more sustainable, so we've launched a new competition giving you the chance to win £300 to be spent by your school's Eco Team.
What could you win?
1st Prize - £300 for your schools Eco Team
2nd Prize - £100 for your schools Eco Team
3rd Prize - £75 for your schools Eco Team
How do you enter?
All you have to do is join Operation Energy and tell us how you would spend the money to make your Eco-School more environmentally friendly. Maybe your Eco- School is already running an eco project? Why not tell us how this money would help to improve that project.
You can then submit your entry in the way your pupils feel is best to showcase their idea, anything from a storyboard to a photo or even a video, along with 200 words to describe their project.
Why should you enter?
Not only could you win £300 for your Eco Team, but you will be helping the environment. The competition will help both pupils and teaching staff learn more about energy and the environment, as well as helping cut your school’s carbon footprint.
What are the dates?
The competition is open now and closes on Friday 23rd March 2012 so make sure you get your projects in before then! Send your projects to www.operation-energy.com
Don’t forget reducing energy usage means less carbon emissions, as well as lower energy bills!
